Disappointed on moving day

It is always disappointing when after months of preparing for the big move, dealing with solicitors and mortgage lenders etc, the day itself goes badly. We empathise greatly. Despite advising our vendors on the best strategies for moving out, there is in reality little influence we can have over them with regard to how tidy or clean they leave their home or indeed if they take longer to move out than they had thought.
