Hi. I am am sorry that you have had issues with your product and that nobody has got back to you. The cushion has a simple valve which is simply inflated by blowing into it. It does not require much air and therefore a pump is not usually required. I have left a message on your voicemail to discuss this and hopefully reach a satisfactory outcome for you. Andrew
