Fabulous trip across the North Sea from Amsterdam to Edinburgh with some proper windy weather... Skipper/Mate were hard-working, enthusiastic and put a lot of energy into everything.

Hi Peter. We're very sorry that you felt this way during your trip with us in 2017. Our yachts are coded to Cat 0 by the MCA and really are exceptionally safe and seaworthy. On long voyages a few minor faults can occur and you guys were unlucky to get three at once. These were actually very minor faults that should have taken no more than an hour to fix (blocked heads etc). Unfortunately they occurred just as we had to use a stand-in skipper after our normal skipper had to pull out suddenly due to personal reasons. This meant they were not very familiar with the boat and took much longer than we would like to fix the issues. We can only apologise for that again, as we did at the time. While it was an almost unique situation for us, it is slightly part and parcel of ocean sailing but we recognise we should have better discussed with you and your wife the nature of this type of ocean going voyage prior to your booking.
