Thank you for providing feedback on your recent experience with Qdos and I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the service. I have been looking into the correspondence to understand what happened and it appears the reason for the back and forth for your renewal was a lack of communication within our team. When you first contacted us you queried the premiums and decided to amend your quotation. I can see that you informed my colleague that you had sent the funds via bank transfer but my colleague did not get back to you. An application for renewal must be submitted before funds are sent, so my colleague should have arranged a call to go through a renewal application with you ready for when the funds reached our account. Unfortunately as there were no records of the initial conversation and no pending application on your account, we were required to contact you to establish what the funds where for and process a renewal application. I can appreciate this would have been frustrating for you as you assumed everything had already been discussed. I can assure you that this is not standard practice and we have facilities in place to ensure all conversations with customers are logged to avoid any situations like the above.
