Good afternoon, Thank you for providing feedback on your recent experience with Qdos and I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the service.As you pay on a direct debit basis, your policy was automatically renewed to incept on 01/08/2021. Email correspondence was sent to notify you of your renewal along with the instructions of how to cancel the renewal. We received your notification regarding your wish to remove the renewal, which we processed so your policy would expire on 31/07/2021.Your current policy which will expire on 31/07/2021 still has a payment left, so my colleague sent you the cancellation request to see if you wanted to cancel and avoid any remaining payments being debited. Thank you for providing feedback on your recent experience with Qdos and I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the service. As you pay via Direct Debit, we do communicate with our customers that a £23.00 administration fee will be charged each year at renewal. The benefits of paying monthly is that you will not have any cancellation charges should you cancel midway through your insurance and your insurance is automatically renewed 28 days prior to expiry to give ample opportunity to discuss renewal premiums and any material changes. You do have the option to switch to an annual payment if you would prefer to avoid the admin fee, however please bear in mind it would mean if you were to cancel we do retain a £20 cancellation fee per policy from your pro-rata refund.
