On a couple of occasions we do mention additional services/insurances, mainly to ensure you were happy with an indemnity level on the Tax Liability Cover as we offer numerous indemnity levels. Then we make you aware of your legal requirement to hold Employers Liability due to your circumstances. We do not provide any advice or recommendations, but we provide you with sufficient information to allow you to make an informed decision. From a customer’s perspective, I appreciate it may have felt a little overbearing. I can assure you our intention was not to scare you into purchasing anything additional, only to inform you so you can make an informed decision. I think we could have better positioned our IR35 calculator service and explaining your legal requirement around Employers Liability, as it was important for you to appreciate the service and your legal requirement. Apologies if you felt we were trying to scare you into buying additional policies, this is certainly not our intention.
