Hello We appreciate your concerns regarding our use of Feefo to collect customer feedback and, more specifically, that you did not give explicit consent for your details to be shared with Feefo. We have set out a brief response to your review below, however, please refer to the email we have since sent to you which provides you with our full response. Under data protection laws, there are six lawful bases for processing, at least one of which must apply whenever personal data is processed and all of which are set out in full within our email. The collection of feedback from customers in relation to a specific transaction is considered market research, which fulfils the requirements of the legal basis of “legitimate interests”, meaning it is not necessary to obtain opt-in consent from customers. We do however explain how Feefo may be used in the “Customer Reviews / Feedback” section of our Privacy Policy, which is presented to and accepted by customers at the outset of any transaction. This can also be viewed at any time by customers via our website (https://www.qdoscontractor.com/privacy-policy). I hope this response, together with our full response sent to your email on 15/11/2022, clarifies the position and our use of Feefo, however please feel free to contact us should you have any further concerns or queries.
