As a responsible lender, we conduct thorough credit and affordability checks on every new application we receive. These checks are just as thorough if someone is borrowing from us for the first time or for the fifth time.
Please be aware, if a customer has previously paid back a loan on time this will improve their trust score with PiggyBank. However, for each new application, we do have to complete the relevant credit and affordability checks. If an application is unsuccessful, it would mean that at this time the individual did not meet our current responsible lending criteria.
However if you do still need help in the future, you can reapply after 14 days of the date of an application being unsuccessful.
