Thanks for your review. We understand the frustration of the additional 20% excess charges being applied to your policy, this is applied when your pet turns a certain age so we can help premiums stay at the price they are, if not, then the price would increase, and also due to the risk of illness and injury increasing as your pets get older. We do notify you of any changes to your policy in your renewal documents 3 weeks ahead of your renewal so you can review any changes to your policy. I can see a complaint has been logged so I hope you can come to a resolution with our Complaints Team.
