Thank you for your feedback, having investigated the circumstances it would appear that:
- you obtained a quote via GoCompare at 21.54 on the evening of the 27th March 2017
- you then purchased the policy directly online that same evening
- it would appear that at some point during this process, the storage location was stated on GoCompare as being at both a secure CaSSOA storage site and also at a communal parking area
- the system has quoted on the basis of the caravan being stored at a secure CaSSOA storage site and unfortunately none of our panel of insurers would be unable to to quote for your age of caravan stored within a communal parking area
- the situation came to light during one of our regular reviews and we notified you of the circumstances on the 29th April, providing you with 14 days to source alternative cover
I am sorry that this situation has arisen and we are already looking in to how a similar situation arising from third party comparison sites can be avoided in future.
