Thank you for your feedback on our Clothes and Carpet Moth Trap Refills.
There could be a few reasons why you are not catching Clothes and Carpet Moths.
1) The moths in your home are not the species that are attracted to our Traps. MothPrevention Clothes and Carpet Moth Traps attract the following types of moth:
Webbing Clothes Moth, otherwise know as the Common Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella)
Case Bearing Moth, otherwise know as the Case Making Moth (Tinea pellionella)
White Shouldered House Moth (Endrosis sarcitrella)
Brown House Moth (Hofmannophila pseudospretella)
2) It could be due to the stages of the Moth Life Cycle - our Traps attract the active adult male moths, not the females or juveniles. The Traps can remain active for 12 weeks after opening therefore keeping them in position is important. If you would like more information on the Moth Life Cycle you may find this article on our website helpful.

3) Do you have any moth deterrents near where you have placed the Traps? Natural repelling products such as cedar and lavender will disrupt the power of the Trap pheromones.
Our Moth Traps do not contain anything that will cause moths to avoid them or be repelled.
