We use UPS for our bulk fabric deliveries. The cost is £6.95 including VAT regardless of how much fabric is sent. The cost also includes insurance. We have a blanket contract with UPS which allows us to have what is an extremely competitive rate on shipping. It just so happens that this contract includes next working day delivery as a standard item. Customers are not being asked to pay a premium for next day delivery as this is included in the deal we have - it therefore does not follow that the cost of delivery would reduce expedentially if we were to offer 2, 3 or 4 day delivery options. Most of our competitors make a charge of £9.99 or above for a similar service so we think our shipping charges are more than competitive. We always send out bulk orders rolled on a very sturdy tube and extremely well packaged. This even applies to orders of one or two metres. This way we ensure that goods arrive in pristine condition.
