Samples were originally ordered on 30th December and were posted 1st class the same day. We have had a number of sample orders simply not arrive over the Christmas period which is extremely irritating. We will of course send samples again ASAP. Tim Kennedy Owner Modelli Fabrics

This customer requested one sample in Brescia 1429 which is a gold colour. They also added a note to their sample order indicating that they were looking for a gold Dralon type velvet. We not only sent the sample requested but also added in several other velvets in gold colours based on the note the customer had provided. This was done on our own initiative and is something we frequently do when customers have given additional information regarding the project they are undertaking. All the samples sent were velvets. What defines a velvet fabric is the presence of a cut pile. This can take many forms and there are a multitude of different looks, textures and finishes available in velvet. It is one of the most versatile and hard wearing fabrics there is. I don't normally take issue with customers but in this instance the customer is incorrect in stating that the other samples sent are not velvets. They are. Perhaps they do not correspond to the notion of velvet the customer has, but they are velvets nonetheless. It is unfortunate therefore that this customer has seen fit to post negative feedback regarding our products when not only did we swiftly supply the sample requested but offered additional samples as well.
