Try not to ask for feedback before I have received my order, especially when it has taken 10 days so far and I am still waiting for delivery.

I am sorry to hear that your order hasn't arrived yet Robert. I can see that you placed your order on the 23rd March and it left us the very next day. You selected free economy delivery, which should take 2-4 working days. Unfortunately, due to the current global pandemic, orders are taking a little longer than normal to reach people as I am aware Royal Mail is under a lot of pressure with such huge volumes of post at the moment. I am unable to chase a delivery until 10 working days from the estimated delivery date has passed and as it has only been 8 working days since it has left us, we have to wait a couple more days. I am sorry your order has not arrived as quickly as you would like, under normal circumstances, we pride ourselves and the couriers on exceptionally fast delivery but due to the current circumstances, I am afraid this is leading to some delays. We are lucky enough to remain open at this moment in time when many other companies are forced to close and are working around the clock to fulfill orders and remain open for more customers who need us but unfortunately the delivery times of Royal Mail are out of our control. If you would like a faster service, Royal Mail 1st Class and DHL are available as options at checkout. Should you need any further information or should your order still not be with you within the 10 working days, please let me know on sales@metabolics.co.uk where I will be able to assist further.

I've now received my order, many thanks. I have ordered from Metabolics on many previous occasions; this is the first time it hasn't arrived next day. Given my previous excellent experience with Metabolics, I was perfectly happy to accept that this time was an aberration beyond their control under current circumstances. However, I drew the line at being asked for feedback whilst still awaiting delivery and rather over-reacted. I've amended my rating from 2 stars to 4; it would always have been 5 before.
