Kevin, I am sorry we did not take care of your needs. The 8x3 wood screws you have been getting are on backorder until 2020. These have been made in Taiwan and China by the same company for the past 30 years. With the new tariffs our production was moved and they are behind in deliveries. We start picking and packing orders when they are placed. We do not have the ability to change or add to orders once they are placed. That is why you have received great service for years and your was shipped in 24 hours and delivered by the Post office in two days. We have the same screw, in black, at the same price available until we get the standard ones in stock. Our staff should have been able to help you with what we have available and when the backorders are coming in, we have some work to do earn your business again. Thank you, Tim G.

The ability to ensure you get the same screw every time is important to us. The cost of freight on small orders can be as much as 50% of the order. We do not refund those charges unless we made a mistake. Our return policy is to treat clients by the golden rule.
