Hello Kay, thank you for your feedback. We acknowledge our shipping rates are high and we are in the process of changing couriers which will be happening very soon. We pride ourselves on our order turnaround time, most of the time dispatch within 24 hours. When we change couriers you will get the same level of excellent service, just at a better price.Please do not let the plastic bottles question the quality of our wonderful oils! Filling carrier oils into glass is not feasible for many reasons but please be assured the plastic bottles can be recycled. We do prefer to pack into a larger box to protect the goods as much as possible but again we strongly encourage the paper fill to be re-used or recycled. If we dispatched in a smaller box it has a much higher chance of getting damaged in transit. I hope this reassures you! Many thanks,
