I'm sorry you experienced problems with the payment system. Sometimes a card company may decide to decline a transaction and this can happen for a number of reasons.
Our email confirmations are sent out immediately, occasionally they do go into spam or junk folders so it may be worth checking to see if it is there. Please do get back in touch with us if needed and we will be glad to help.
