We do aim to provide every client with a free 15-minute consultation per new matter and did so on this occasion, so we are sorry to hear that our service did not meet your expectations here.

Our lawyers will always try to help as much as possible within this initial consultation period and will give guidance during this time.

In this instance, I can see that our LawBrief considered the information you gave, including reading through your attachment, and provided you with a preliminary view in writing on these matters. Following on from this, they made some suggestions regarding next steps and said they could draft an agreement for you for which we could issue a fixed fee no-obligation quote.

Our administrator did tell you, before referring you to a lawyer, that based on your expectations there may well be a charge for the advice you had requested.

Our aim is to keep small companies safe and sound at a price they can afford, however, unfortunately we cannot complete drafting/contractual work for free.
