As this was an incident with a Foreign vehicle they can take some time to complete, however I will ask the file handler at Allianz to contact you to discuss further.

We have looked into the points you have raised and can advise that the reason we didn’t book your vehicle in for repair earlier was that we needed to obtain a full admission of liability from the third-party insurer before proceeding with the repairs to your vehicle. The team should have advised you of this and we have fed this back to the team manager to ensure that this does not happen again. We can only apologise for the problem with the hire car and that it was not returned sooner.
