We were not sure what this review was all about so we messaged the customer. The customer responded that she bought the product because it was stated as being safe to use on food container cork lids. Not by us it wasn't! AI strikes again perhaps?! The product in question is for sealing cork, mainly bought for Birkenstock soles but can be used for cork coasters and place mats. Nowhere on our website listing does it state that it is safe for food containers, cork lids or state that it is food safe. We pointed this out to the customer who replied with 'you don't state that it isn't food safe!' Sometimes we just can't win! Not sure this qualifies us for a 1 Star Rating and the feedback Bad! After 16 years we have seen most things but this was a new one on us. We will add that it isn't food safe to the website just in case anyone wants to eat their dinner off their newly sealed cork placemats or Birkenstock soles in the future :-)
