Exoensive delivery and late

Ordered my Alpac food and itv as charged £25 delivery. The delivery was late and when I phoned to tell them that the order was addressed yet again to the wrong address no explanation or apology...

Thanks for taking the time to leave us some feedback and we are sorry that this mistake happened. It was a genuine mistake and I understand from my colleague that we did then resend your products to the right address. With regards to the delivery charge, unfortunately these are the charges we receive from our shipping carriers because of the size and weight of the items. However, I would be happy to email you with some local stockists in your area that you could get the product from to save yourself the delivery charge as well as some other online options that may suit you as well. We don't compete on price with our stockists so you may also find a good deal on the bags themselves. Again please accept our apologies for the mistake that was made with your address.

We're so sorry there was a mix up with your address - this was a genuine mistake which we have now rectified. I understand you were also unhappy about our delivery charges which are unfortunately the carrier rates we are given and we have to pass along (although we also subsidise these where we can) but we'd be very happy to help you find a local stockist who should be able to give you a better price - as we make it a rule not to compete with our stockists on price and we only charge RRP they are often cheaper than us.
