We are sorry that this holiday didn't meet expectations in the areas described. The holiday is a 'level 2' or 'Moderate' tour within our classification scale, which means that it is suitable for people with cycling experience and a reasonable level of fitness. Our guidance also states: 'distances are usually longer than those on an 'Easy' tour and many tours will have cycling every day. Terrain covered will usually include some hill climbs though these will not be severe'. Our itinerary description doesn't make particular reference to cycling tracks or cycling by rivers and cycling distances are accurately recorded. We have passed on comments about hotels and service and our partner operator has acted upon this. One hotel has been removed from the itinerary for 2015 onwards. We try strenuously to describe holidays as accurately as possible, and to use good quality hotels. Occasionally clients' expectations are not aligned with our difficulty assessment and route description. Hotels are kept under continual review and we act quickly if we feel a hotel is not meeting our standards.
