We always keep customers informed of any delays and ask if you are prepared to wait or would like to cancel. On the rare occasion we go out of stock, we are the mercy of Makita our supplier, who on this occasion were completely out of stock. Please accept out apologies for the delay in supplying.
Most 110v machines come with a 16A plug, but on machines that draw over 16A, we are not allowed to supply a plug with the product because in theory it has to be wired directly into a power supply or have a 32A plug fitted. We do acknowledge that this information should be on the page though and have updated the information.
26th March 2014 Makita supply the tool without a plug, they will expect one to be fitted, it would certainly not invalidate any warranty fitting one. We always give customers the chance to cancel an order and always ask if you wish to wait. We understand how frustrating it can be waiting, it is for us too. We are unfortunately at the mercy of Makita the supplier.
