All the self-catering properties at the manor are apartments or villas. It states on the website that the Caradon is on the first floor of the Manor accommodation. We are sorry that you feel the property was damp however as the building is 18th century; we strive to keep the properties well ventilated and aired. The storage heaters within the property are ideal for this and are included in the cost of the holiday. We advertise that electric charges are chargeable at the end of the stay. We do not make any money from the electric and it also encourages guests to be more energy conscious. Our managers live on site and are contactable at any time for any concerns or queries. Their contact number can be found on the letter with the key, in the reception area, on the welcome letter within the property and in our information folder. It is a shame that you did not raise any concerns during your stay as we would have tried to remedy the situation for you or offer you a move to an alternative property. Finally, we do hope that you had the chance to enjoy the 36 acres of ground surrounding the manor and perhaps took advantage of the Village Inn, our bar and restaurant located opposite at the holiday village.
