Value for money. This was a very expensive cottage and our expectations were high. Downstairs could have been a budget property and the parking was stressful.

Response on behalf of the owner: Dear Guest, Thank you for your valued feedback. I am disappointed that your stay at Cook’s Cottage was less than perfect. The cottage is indeed in an excellent location and has one ample parking space behind the cottage accessible down a quiet lane but also parking on the quiet street at the front of the cottage. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the large master bedroom upstairs but found the downstairs with quality kitchen appliances, branded electrical goods plus solid oak and leather furniture (from a store never knowingly undersold) not to your liking. Our previous eight reviewers gave us 10/10 without exception so we were surprised and saddened by your comments and apologise if our cosy cottages did not reach your expectations. With best wishes, Cottage owner.
