Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are somewhat surprised and disappointed to read your comments following your recent stay at The Old School Room. With regard to the scores that you gave, the house was thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival but as you arrived over an hour earlier than the allocated time, I was unfortunately unable to complete a final check but I am most certain that the house was ready and cleaned to the highest standard.
The property and other facilities are regularly maintained and we take appropriate action to improve our accommodation at every opportunity. We have just purchased and installed a brand new oven and a brand new set of saucepans were added to the kitchen at the beginning of the season. We would have appreciated feedback as to what areas you feel require more attention and we regret not having the opportunity to discuss.
We go to great lengths to provide everything our guests need and we always leave a welcome gift of eggs, homemade bread, butter and staple items such as milk, tea and coffee. We do hope that you enjoyed this!
