Thank you for your comment. The corset you purchased is a waist training steel boned corset and you can take up to 4" or 6" off to choose a garment size depending on your personal preference. For instance, if your natural waist measurement is 26", taking 4" or 6" off to choose the garment size, so you would need a corset size of 20" or 22". There is a modest panel on the back.
