I have modified the route description somewhat to better prepare customers for the realities of the Tamara Coast to Coast; at Contours, we found the southern section to be a lovely route, but increasingly we feel the remainder is too hard going despite some good highlights here and there. Thank you for your thoughtful and thorough review of the Severn Way, which I'm sure future walkers will appreciate. The sheer number of maps required for a walk of this scale is something of a conundrum, as we'd hate to send anyone off into the countryside without a robust non-digital navigational aid, but we agree it's a lot to carry! Certainly something we'll continue to grapple with going forwards.
