Drat, that's a shame about the weather - we're glad it was better for part of your walk, at least! The choice of map to provide is always a difficult balance between accuracy and carriability, for lack of a better word, as the Dales Way does span a large number of OS sheets (more than five!) which can be problematic, but we definitely appreciate that they're by far the nicest way to navigate.
