Many thanks for your feedback, its greatly received albeit a little negative on this occasion but wished to reiterate that this was relating to the instructions and not the Standard Terracotta Chimney Cowl itself, its a great product and I have and will always recommend this to our customers without hesitation. Throughout our 10+ years selling this particular Chimney Cowl we have always prided ourselves on the simplicity of fitting this Chimney Cowl but appreciate in this instance you have experienced a small problem. I have relayed this back to the manufacture and we will add additional information to the website regarding fitting. As ever we are always available if you would like to give us a call and we will happily go through the fitting process, its extremely quick - fingers crossed you will also be surprised with the simplicity of fitting this Chimney Cowl - hope this helps and please don't hesitate to give us a call and or please send me an email when convenient and we'll happily return your call, kindest regards Paul.
