We note the point made regarding automatic refunds being part of our standard terms, this is something that we will be escalating to our senior management team.
In regards to inventory checks, we do not arrange these as standard, and we do apologise if there has been a breakdown in communication if you thought this was the case. To try and ease the process we provided you with a number of contacts for local inventory companies.
Although stated that you were not keen on students, we did discuss with you that the time of year was prime time for the student market, and agreed that we would not turn down potential viewings based on the fact that the tenants were studying. The first offer that was made on the property, was accepted by yourself – as the students were able to pay a large amount of the rent in advance. Our team will always work very hard to provide you with offers, but the final decision to proceed with any tenancy is down to you.
