I am sorry to hear your parcel was found unattended. All parcels to UK customers are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Special delivery parcels are treated with uttermost care by Royal Mail. They are handled separately through their network and can only be delivered if signed for in the presence of the recipient. It cannot be left at safe places or with your neighbour. If the recipient isn’t at home to receive the parcel, a card is left with redelivery instructions.
I checked your order and although you selected "Free Delivery" at the checkout, we still dispatched your jewellery within 1 working day. I checked the tracking details of your parcel and I couldn't find any problems or irregularities.
With all of us doing more online shopping during the pandemic, may I ask you to verify if it was indeed our parcel which was left unattended by your front door?
If it was indeed our parcel that was left unattended, I would suggest you to speak to your post man. Special delivery parcels can cost a post man's job if not handled correctly or lost. As it's always the same staff covering delivery areas, speaking to your post man about problems with the delivery of signed for items will help them improve service for all parcels received in your area.
