Dear Matthew
I'm delighted to have your reply: previous experience was entirely responsible for my somewhat cutting comment, for which I apologise.
As I said, the Explorer case is of excellent quality but I really bought it for the "essential" extra height. I have 25 years of experience with Pelicans and given that the Pelican 1510 has a flat base into which the extending handle does not intrude (please check and confirm) It would better suit my purpose as it is built to "carry-on" spec.
The Explorer, fortunately owing to lock-down, is as yet unused. If an exchange can be arranged I will be pleased to pay any balance which may be due and maximise your company's star grading.
I will not need the foam inserts as I have come to the conclusion that ultimately the protection of my instruments is more important than the presentation and I now know that a case of height 190mm+ provides adequate room
Kind Regards and Best Wishes
Jaime Gill
