Brinvale Bird Foods was conceived in 2004 by Hilary and Andy Wiles on their arable farm in the Vale of Belvoir.
They started the business by selling bags of their harvested crops as bird food to locals from their garage. As the business grew they began to run out of room in the farm office and realised that they would have to expand.
Since then Brinvale Bird Foods has grown a lot. Hilary and Andy’s eldest son Richard is in charge of the arable farm and in 2012 the business had become successful enough that they could build a bespoke office, farm shop and car park on Brinvale Farm. They have also recently had a brand new warehouse built, allowing them to hold more stock and keep their prices reasonable.
