Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It was great to hear that you found our service 'first class' and that you enjoyed your stay. However, I am so sorry to hear you felt the ground floor was not as clean as it should have been. We do pride ourselves on our high standard of cleaning so we were disappointed not to have met your expectations. May I suggest that next time you alert us to this during your stay and we can then send our cleaners round again to address any issues during your holiday. Of course, there is nothing we can do to prevent insects getting in during your time at the villa.... the property is based in the countryside and I'm afraid that spiders, creepy crawlies and even the occasional scorpion are therefore the norm. Rest assured, the scorpions in this part of the world are harmless though!
