Sorry to hear the device is working for you. We say pick a spot for installation and the leave the device in that spot for 3 weeks as it can take up to 3 weeks to repel possums. If it hasn't worked after that time please do take some photos of your possum problem. When doing the photos don’t do close ups, stand back a bit so we get a good perspective of the area, and take several photos from different angles to increase the perspective. Basically we need to clearly see where the devices are installed, what you are trying to protect, and the surrounding area.
Once we have these we'll get back to you with some advice.

The product doesn't work. There is no light, it's dead. The latest is that as at 9pm tonight the top light works but there is no bottom bright light

Hi Ric Im Darren we spoke on the phone yesterday. Good to hear that unlike yesterday the top light is now working for you. The top light is a red glow that only comes on when the device is emitting ultrasonics. Most people wont hear the ultrasonics so this red light is the only way they will know the device is on. The bottom bright light is the optional strobe light. Yesterday I explained to repel possums you turn the large green ultrasonic dial to where it says Possums. At this point the strobe light wont activate. If you have a look at the large ultrasonic dial you’ll see a white and black circle around it. See where it says Strobe Light point the dial there if you want the Strobe Light on.

Yes if the device is programmed to strobe light, the strobe light will come on when ever the device activates
