Privet is a semi-evergreen, which means the plants may lose some or all their leaves during a very chilly winter. In spring lots of new leaves will push through and in the summer they will produce masses of white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Hi, Lovely to speak to you yesterday, and thank you for being so understanding. I am sorry your Cherry Laurels arrived in such poor condition. As discussed on our call I have arranged for some After Plant feed to be sent to you, and I can see it has left us today for delivery tomorrow. After Plant is specially designed to support stronger growth of evergreen plants. It is also great for helping the leaves to flush through nice and green and this should help the plants to recover. Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave us this feedback. I am so sorry your order was delayed arriving with yourself. I have sent you an email and tried to call you to discuss this. Your delivery charge has been refunded back the way you paid. I cannot apologise enough for this delay. Hornbeam is wonderful for colourful seasonal interest. Over autumn/winter when the plants are dormant the leaves turn brown, and the plants hold onto these leaves. Then when the weather warms up again in spring healthy new green leaves will push through. Your new hedge will also attract lots of lovely wildlife to your garden 🐞🐦.I hope you enjoy your new hedging and the wildlife it will bring to your garden.
