In relation to your enquiry about a river view room, our records show that we contacted the hotel to request a river view upgrade on your behalf. Unfortunately, the hotel advised that no river view rooms were available and were therefore unable to fulfil your request. Our records also show that we telephoned you to advise you of this update. We apologise if there was any misunderstanding regarding the outcome of your request. Regarding the itinerary, we do not routinely issue an additional copy of the tour itinerary unless there have been changes to the holiday programme. Customers can refer to the itinerary contained within the brochure or on our website, which helps to reduce unnecessary printing and supports our environmental commitments. Final travel details, including feeder coach arrangements and pickup information, are normally issued by post approximately 10–14 days before departure. We appreciate that not knowing where the feeder coach would join the main coach prior to receiving your travel documents may have been frustrating; however, we are unable to advise specific routes for our holidays until all bookings have been received and the tour operation has been fully finalised. As your holiday departed from the South Coast and travelled North to York, a longer transfer journey was unfortunately unavoidable. With regard to the pickup and drop-off service, we are sorry if there was any confusion. Since you booked your holiday, Worthing Coaches has expanded its pickup options and now offers a home pickup and drop-off service from selected postcode areas, subject to a charge of £25 per person. As these services and availability can change over time, we recommend referring to the Worthing Coaches website for the most up-to-date information regarding pickup options available in your area. Porterage was not included as part of this tour. All holiday inclusions are detailed within our brochure and on our website, and as porterage is not automatically provided by hotels, it is not listed unless specifically included. However, if assistance is required due to mobility concerns, we encourage customers to advise our team in advance or speak to the driver, who will always assist where possible.
