I am so sorry to hear that your house sitter cancelled your agreement one day before your trip overseas and this resulted in you having to employ someone to care for your animals while you were away. While we understand that there can be unforeseen circumstances that require a house sit to be cancelled, a house sitter should not be cancelling a house sit once it has been confirmed unless there are significant issues that require this to occur. For those rare occasions when a homeowner or house sitter has experienced a problem, we are always available to hear feedback and we do take appropriate action. After much consideration and taking into account our member’s feedback, you may be happy to hear that we are also in the process of creating a new rating/review system which will allow home owners and house sitters to provide feedback regarding their house sit. These ratings/reviews would be visible on the house sitter’s profile and the home owner’s ad for all members to view. This will replace our current Endorsements and we are expecting this to be implemented in the next few months.
