Was over a week late from proposed delivery after being ordered a month in advance. Ashridge cited the "very poor weather in England" which had a detrimental effect on their deliveries into Scotland!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your order was delayed. We lift all our plants to order and the weather can affect the lifting, especially when it is frozen, as we are then unable to lift any plants out of the ground. We have been in touch by email to arrange to send you a replacement order during the bare root season.

We are very sorry you are disappointed, but Zepherine Drouhin is a climbing rose and flowers on the wood of the previous year. As all bareroot roses (from all suppliers) are cut back before shipping all the growth of the first year after planting would be devoted to creating a flowering framework which would carry blossom the next year. We do hope it performed for your this year. Catherine
