I am sorry for the delay you have experienced. I have investigated this and can confirm that the goods are due into us 14th / 15th September as advised when we contacted you following the order being placed. Please accept my apologies for the delay in delivering your order, i do agree that 13 days is unacceptable. Having investigated this i have discovered that my colleagues contacted you the day after your order was placed to inform you of the delay and confirm the goods were placed on order with our supplier. Unfortunately Festool do not hold stock in the UK which results in a longer than usual lead time. I believe my colleague contacted you yesterday to say the item had arrived, it was despatched yesterday and will be delivered to you today. I have investigated why there were 2 requests for payment. When an on-line transaction takes place for your security the payment is processed via SagePay payment gateway. Sagepay request the payment along with security information from your issuing bank, the bank send SagePay the payment and the security details. In this instance the security details did not match so SagePay rejected the payment sending it back to your bank and the order went into suspense. We then reviewed your order, recognised you as a repeat customer so re-requested the payment authorising the transaction despite the mis-match of security details. I can clarify that only 1 payment was taken. Once again i apologise for any inconveience caused by the delay. Ian Thacker
