We really do appreciate your choice of Hiscox for your Business Insurance cover, and I am disappointed to hear that you have experienced so many issues in taking out your cover. I have personally looked into each of your points in turn. We have looked into the SSL security issue, and cannot find a clear reason as to why this has happened, but will continue to check for other reports of this as an issue. I have called both of the numbers that appear on the website, and have been able to connect successfully, so it is possible that there was a temporary telephony issue. It is unfortunate that the partially completed policy and the completed one were running in parallel, and it is clearly undesirable to be receiving emails relating to what appear to be failed transactions. We have a programme of system improvements and I will include your feedback in this, though I am not in a position to confirm a date by which this change will be implemented. Your experience in our contact centre falls below our service standards, and we have contacted the Operations Manager, and I have forwarded your feedback. I also do hope that you have no cause to make a claim, but I am confident that our service in this respect is market leading, and that your faith and confidence would be restored.
