We'd like to note that all pet insurance policies are likely to see an increase each year in order to account for additional risks to your pet's health as they get older. As pets age, they become susceptible to a greater range of issues that become more expensive to cover as time goes on. We factor in the cost of providing you cover in the worst case scenarios, to give you peace of mind about care for your pet when you need it most.
New policies are subject to new business terms, including the loss of cover for any previous medical history, and can sometimes work out cheaper than renewal on account of this. It will not be able to offer the same level of security a renewal does, but we make sure all customers are aware of this option to shop around in our renewal invitations.
