One week later I received notification that my booking was cancelled due to over subscription. At no stage was I given an indication that my booking was in a holding and risked not being confirmed. Quite the opposite when I checked, and was informed that everything looks good with your booking on our end, we don't need any additional information...

Hello, Before making the booking we do advise the applications are accepted on a first come first serve basis subject to qualifying in line with the club's ticketing policy. We have also confirmed the booking is 'on request' within the booking confirmation as they are not fully confirmed once the application is put through. We are sorry to hear that your application did not get accepted on this occasion. Kind Regards, Elle

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Upon checking your booking, I can see this had been cancelled by the club due to the high demand of applications we had received. This service had run on a first come first serve basis and the applications were 'on request' meaning the booking is not fully confirmed at the point of first making the booking. Kind Regards, Elle
