Thank you for your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear about the painting being 'tatty'. Sounds like it sneaked through our quality control somehow, or at least, failed to meet your expectations. Our DCUK characters are all individually hand painted and carved to a very high standard first time by our talented makers, but that hands-on natural approach means we do have the occasional defect sometimes. Which is usually fixed, or taken off the shelves.
As a customer-focused brand, we rely on our outstanding reputation for customer care, and 5-star experience, so to hear about this (and the 3-star review) is very disappointing for us too. If you've not done so already, please do get in touch with our retail despatch team via orders@dcuk.com and request a suitable replacement. We'd be more than happy to help do what we can to make it a positive experience for you.
