I fully understand that fares fluctuate but they didn't fluctuate overnight on your competitor's web site and seats were available on those flights all over the web so with this in mind that is why I contacted your customer service to ask if perhaps there was a mistake on your site. She took a "take it or leave it" attitude when she checked her computer and saw the same prices that I was seeing and then advised me to try to book on a cheaper competitors web site, which I did successfully. An hour later I notice that the fare on your site is now back to the same as the previous night (within a couple of pounds). I was surprised that she didn't try to investigate why your web site was showing such a large increase as clearly it was wrong otherwise it wouldn't be showing the lower fare now. A £43 increase was hardly a fluctuation. To summarise I didn't think your staff really understood that such an increase was not normal and as a result of her attitude you lost that sale. You asked what I thought so I've told it how it was, it wont stop me checking your site for future requirements and if it helps you retrain your staff we will all gain.
