Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by not communicating that we could not fulfil your order and not informing you of the cancellation.
We understand your frustration and disappointment in not receiving the item you purchased in time for your summer ride. We take full responsibility for the slip-up on our end and assure you that this is not something that would normally happen.
Please let us explain that during the week of the 19th to the 24th of April, we had the London Bike Show, and most of our team was away and busy preparing for the show. As a result, we had only one person in the office sorting out orders. As this was a sale item with limited stock our system was showing we had one left, but after double checking, we unfortunately didn't. We did process your refund as soon as possible on the 25th, the day after we returned to the office, but we understand that this was not timely enough. We were extremely busy on return and unfortunately, the cancellation email wasn't communicated.
Again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope that you can understand the circumstances under which this issue occurred. We appreciate your understanding and want to assure you that we are taking steps to ensure that this does not happen again in the future.
