Dear Jenny, thank you so much for travelling with us again this year and for taking the time to share your trip impressions with us. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding evening meals and our reservations team will be looking into the specific details with the hotels along this route. It is worth mentioning our packages can be booked with dinner or on breakfast-only basis which gives you more flexibility in terms of food. We find most pilgrims prefer having dinners organised during the trek, for convenience, in general. We hope to see you again on the Camino!

Regarding your first day's walk, looking at your itinerary we can see that the first night was booked in Vigo and the first walking day was from Vigo to Redondela on July 13th. We always book the first night at the place where your walk begins. We hope we were able to clarify your question. It would have been possible to start from Baiona if you had wished, booking an additional night. Feel free to get in touch if we can be of further help.
