As September is the busiest month on the Camino, availability can be limited so we have upgraded some of your accommodations to Casa Rural, which are delightful boutique properties in rural areas. Although a phone call is required to get picked up, we feel it's a better option than compromising on standard. We book the best accommodation available along all the Camino routes but as you might have noticed the French Way crosses pretty small towns and hamlets as well as bigger cities. For this reason, it is difficult to keep the same standard of accommodation, as smaller towns simply don't have the options. We are sorry to hear the hotel directions were incorrect on two occasions during your trip. We hope you enjoyed your Camino experience with us overall.
