Meal times in Spain can vary a lot as you have noticed and English is not widely spoken; however, it is all part of experiencing a different culture, we hope that didn't take from the enjoyment of the trip. For airport transfers we generally recommend 2 hours before the flight just to allow for unexpected delays. In relation to walking poles, it will depend on the airlines, so it is recommended to check with them in advance.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Maura. We are happy to hear you liked the service provided. In relation to change bookings: as accommodation is arranged for a different town each night, if a night is cancelled it will have a knock on effect on the rest of the booking. While it is possible to do, it would take the reservations team time to re-organise the whole booking, some hotels might not have availability and there will be a cost associated with it. Generally the best solution for skipping a day would be indeed to take a taxi and have a rest day. This would have been recommended mainly to avoid incurring in additional costs related to cancelling hotel nights/altering your booking. I hope this helps.
